Toronto Beaches Boardwalk.The event starts at the Balmy Beach Club, 360 Lake Front, Toronto, M4E 1A7   Get directions.

What time is the event?

The walk will start at 9 A.M., followed by a social at the Balmy Beach Club from 10 A.M.-  12 P.M.

The social will feature nibbles, a silent auction, the famous Gratitude Shop, special draw and lots of great people to rekindle connections with and make new friends!

How can I support a team or participant?

To make a donation, please follow these steps:

  1. In the navigation bar, select "Teams"
  2. Use the search function to find a specific team or individual participant.
  3. Once you locate them, click on their participant page.
  4. Select the donate button on the participant’s page. 
  5. Follow the prompts to complete your donation.

Is this event child and dog-friendly?

We encourage you to bring children of all ages to this community event. There will be children's activities at the Balmy Beach Club. Well behaved dogs may participate in the walk, but are not permitted at the Balmy Beach Club.

Is there on-site parking?

There are a limited number of free parking spaces in the public lot accessible at the corner of Park Ave. and Beech Ave. 

Is there a registration fee?

No! This is a fundraiser, but just as importantly it is a community-building and awareness raising gathering. All are welcome.

What is a team fundraising page?

When you start a team fundraiser, you become a Team Captain and can invite your friends and family to join in the fun! Once you complete your registration, you can share the team fundraising page with your members, allowing them to create their own personal fundraising pages under your team's umbrella. They'll also have access to sample emails and fundraising ideas in the Participant Centre to help kickstart their efforts toward reaching your team goal!

Will there be food?

There will be nibbles and a cash bar for beverages at the Balmy Beach Club starting at 10a.m.

Should I bring cash?

Bring cash to shop the Gratitude Shop and to participate in the special draw.

Do I have to customize my fundraising page?

Your fundraising page has been pre-loaded with a default image and text. Customized pages always have a greater impact. Make your page extra special by uploading a photo and writing a personal message about your connection to Gratitude 10 or St. Michael's Hospital amd why you're inspired to support the cause.

How do my fundraising efforts help Gratitude 10 and St. Michael's Hospital?

Gratitude 10 depends on your dollars to accomplish its mission of finding a cure for Glioma, a deadly form of brain cancer. By signing up for the event, you're supporting groundbreaking research led by Dr. Sunt Das that can change and save lives.
